Albert Sessions: The Shires Workshop

We are pleased to extend an invitation to attend a songwriting workshop led by The Shires, taking place at the Royal Albert Hall on 8th May.

The biggest-selling UK country act of all time, The Shires (Ben Earle and Crissie Rhodes), headline the Royal Albert Hall on Friday 18 May 2018 as part of our Albert Sessions.

Ahead of their show the award-winning duo, working alongside musicians from Albert’s Band, will run a workshop for up-and-coming songwriters, discussing their songwriting approach and musical influences, before leading a practical session where the young participants will compose a brand new song to be performed at the end of the workshop.

The Albert Sessions enable artists who have not previously headlined at the Royal Albert Hall to offer cut-price tickets to fans, and engage with the Hall’s Education & Outreach programme by offering a bespoke educational opportunity for young people.
